CNTRLive: Total and Wireless Control in Ableton Live 12

CNTRLive is a device developed by T3X2R that redefines interaction with Ableton Live 12. It is not a conventional controller: CNTRLive communicates via a local WiFi network, allowing access from any device with a web browser. This means you can adjust parameters from a tablet, smartphone, or even another computer without cables or additional hardware. Plus, it’s completely free! You can download it from T3X2R.com and turn any mobile device into a dynamic and wireless control surface.

Easy Setup and Connectivity.
CNTRLive is a bypassed audio effect that loads in the audio effects section of Ableton Live. When activated, the device generates an IP address within the local network. To access its interface, simply enter this address in any web browser. No external applications or complex configurations are required.

Customizable Faders and Buttons.
CNTRLive consists of 8 faders and 8 buttons, all fully mappable to any parameter within Ableton Live. Its versatility makes it an ideal tool for various applications:
– Manipulating macros in an effect chain.
– Volume control and muting in a mixer.
– Adjusting filters in an equalizer.

Integration with Visuals in Ableton Live.
Its main feature is the ability to map effect parameters, making it ideal for visuals and graphics with devices like T3X2R’s F1 or 4X. This turns any mobile or tablet into a wireless controller for T3X2R’s max for live visualizer devices. If you work with Ableton Live visuals, CNTRLive makes it easy to control graphic effects in real-time without additional hardware.

Exploring CNTRLive.
From a technical perspective, CNTRLive has an intuitive interface that displays each assigned parameter in real-time. The response is fluid, and the WiFi connection ensures a control experience with no noticeable latency within the local network.

Help and Documentation.
CNTRLive includes a settings section where the IP address is generated to connect to the web interface. To facilitate usage, the device features a help section explaining the setup steps and mapping possibilities.
